    Leading & Managing Open Schooling: Belize

    This course aims to support educational leaders in developing a core set of skills that will enable them to manage Open Schooling systems effectively while leading innovation in educational provision in their countries.

    Participants will:

    • Lead Open Innovative Schooling initiatives using the Aptus device to offer Open and Distance Education (ODL) in remote areas without access to the Internet.
    • Support learner-centred teaching and learning practices in all Open Innovative Schooling (OIS).
    • Ensure that teachers have the pedagogical and technical skills to succeed in transitioning to innovative teaching and learning models using Open Education Resources (OER) and the appropriate technology to enhance learning.
    • Support a distributed model of educational provision to increase access to educational opportunities for all in their countries.
